The first ever party game for the Apple TV

Up to 6 players. Use iPhones/iPads as controllers.

  1. Go to the App Store and install That Word Game™ on your Apple TV (4th generation).
  2. Open That Word Game™ on your iPhone or iPad and select 'Multi Player Game'.
  3. Tap the 'Scan Code' button and scan the QR code you see on your Apple TV. You will see your name and character on the TV.
  4. On your Apple TV, select 'Start Game'. There will be a 3 second count down before the game begins.
  5. Enter words on you iPhone or iPad just like in a single player game. All player scores will appear on the Apple TV.

How do I know if I have a word?

The button at the bottom of the keyboard will show SUBMIT if you have made a valid word.

How do I submit a word?

Tap the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the keyboard, or tap the last letter tile you entered to submit the word.

How do I backspace?

If you have not made a valid word you can tap the button at the bottom of the keyboard, or you can tap the last letter tile that you entered and it will be deleted.

How do I clear an entire word?

If you swipe from right to left across the button at the bottom of the keyboard, the letters you have currently inputted will be cleared.

How does the scoring work?

Your score for a word is made up of the sum of the values on the letter tiles multiplied by a point for every letter in the word. For example:

4 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 11 × 7 letters = 77 points.

When calculating your game score there are also bonus points for each word you add.
